Randy Lyhus (pronounced Leeyoose)

"I'm really inspired and excited by the new tools available to artists today. My work is inspired by photographers like Duane Michaels, Jerry Uelsmann and Michael Kenna as well as painters like Rene Magritte, Giorgio De Chirico, and Edward Hopper. I also find myself mesmerized by what's possible in the special effects of today's modern motion pictures.

My images are created by using various combinations of photography, 3D modeling, photographed models, drawing, and digital painting."

Randy's work has won awards from Communication Arts, Folio magazine, and The Print Regional Annual.
